Hi, Karl! Thanks for your ping, and sorry it's taken so long to get you
a reply.

Sounds like you're a *perfect* candidate for POSSE, then! We'd love to
have you at one this summer.

We're still in the process of figuring out what POSSEs are going to
happen this summer, so expect a flurry of activity on this list between
now and March 1st as you watch all of us figuring that out - right now
we've got one announced, which is the POSSE at RIT (about a 5-6 hour
drive from you, if memory serves) from June 14-18. That's got a CS focus
and would be the sort of thing you're looking for. Attending POSSE is
free, but attendees are generally responsible for their own travel,
lodging, and food expenses.
If you think other professors from your school - or from the area -
would be interested, and want to host a POSSE this summer so you don't
have to travel so far - if you've got the ability to let a bunch of
professors and a few instructors hang out in a room with wifi for a
week, and we can figure out how to get POSSE instructors out to you, and
we can settle all that before March 1st, we could very well get a POSSE
going in Worcester sometime this summer.
