It's not too bad for its scope, but I aim somewhat higher and for more
comprehensiveness. A lot of people who may read my tutorial may not fully
understand what a text editor is, what source code is, why is shrinkwrap
software (commercial, proprietary, open-source, etc.) unique (i.e: because
most software does not have sale value), what makes FOSS great and desirable,
why you should want to write FOSS ("What? Give away my software? Do I look
like a sucker to you?!") , and other considerations like that.
