Just wanted to circle back on this: I think this situation will work, 
and I propose September 1, 2012 as a date for this, since this 
effectively gives us a school year to talk, and a summer to wrap up, 
summarize, and move archives.

Unless flaming cannons begin shooting across the list in response to 
this date, that's what'll happen.
