[TOS] google Rise Proposal

Applied for one of these before.  Competition is extensive.  Thought my thing with the girl scouts was a lock, but didn't make it.  Not saying don't go for it, just sayin tons of people submit for a pretty limited pool

Awards are designed to promote and support Science, Technology,
Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) and Computer Science (CS) education
initiatives. We grant awards to organizations working with K-12 (primary
& secondary schools) and university students to provide enrichment
programs in these fields.

Award amounts range from $5,000 - $25,000 USD.

Just sayin'. It sounds like things such as "have my students develop on
this project and then spend $X to take them all to the developers
conference" might fit nicely in there.
