The Institute of Applied Open Source at Johns Hopkins University in combination with the OSPO++ Network<https://ospoplusplus.com/>.is presenting an online Community Colloquium on Teaching Open Source for Educators<https://www.eventbrite.com/e/teaching-open-source-in-university-systems-a-teaching-opportunity-tickets-147169262225> Fri, 16 April 2021, 10:00 – 15:30 EDT. The focus of the event is on the who, what, where, why and how of teaching open source in universities. Topics include:

  *   Software Methods

  *   OSPO Management

  *   Culture of Open Source

  *   History of Open Source

  *   Analysis of Open Source Projects & Health

  *   Engineering for Scale with Open Source

  *   Open Source Community Practices

The format consists of six different groups presenting open source programs with a 20 minute presentation and 20 minutes for peer discussion.
